What To Expect
What you can expect to find at our main gatherings is a relaxed group of mostly 20 and 30 somethings (mixed with younger and older) who are relational and who seek to grow in our understanding of God and the meaning of our existence. More specifically, you can read the below handout that is available at the welcome table when we meet that will give you an idea of the various elements of our time together.

+ Prayer stations +
Set up behind the black cloths are interactive prayer stations for you to utilize as help in your communication with God(Psalm 46:10, Psalm 119:15, Colossians 4:2, Acts 28:8, 2Timothy 1:6). These opportunities can be used during times of musical worship or anytime you would like. There is also someone to pray with you if you need towards the front left part of the room.
+ Communion Table +Towards the front of the room on the right is a table with bread and juice. These are the elements that Jesus used with his disciples and friends during his last meal with them before he was betrayed and murdered. We now eat and drink these, as Jesus instructed us (Luke 22:19-20), to remember his willingness to become broken and poured out for humanity and to repent of our own self-centeredness and sin. This will be open after the message for you to partake of when you wish.
There will not be a formal invitation for this.
+ The Black Box +
This is the box that is in the middle in the back of the room. We receive no offering or collect tithes during our gathering. Although we do believe that the tithe is a part of our worship as believers (Mark 12:41-44), we leave this as a personal expression. In addition, this box can
also be used for financial or service offerings (Acts 4:32-35) that may be for the good of the group
(please mark“offerings” on envelope for these).
+ Musical Worship +
The Bible teaches that singing and playing instruments is an expression of worship (2 Chronicles 5: 12-14; Ephesians 5:19-20). We open with musical worship and we end with another set of songs after the preaching as a response to the message.
+ Meet & Greet Time +
Peter in his first letter encouraged us to “love one another deeply from the heart” (1 Peter 1:22). We place a high premium on getting to know those we have never met and simply “catching up” with those we already know . We do not rush this time. Use it to meet someone you don’t know.
+ Story +
The NT teaches that we each have something to share (1 Corinthians 14:25-27). This is the time where we take a few moments to hear from one another. Sometime we hear an original writing from our midst's, other times an artist will share about their work and still other times, we will hear from someone’s experience of God’s redemptive work.
+Preaching+
The Bible teaches some of us to preach concerning the kingdom of God & gospel of Jesus (Matthew 10:7, Mark 16:15, Acts 8:25, 10:42, Romans 1:15, 10:14, 1 Corinthians 9:16, 1 Timothy 4:13). Hearing from God’s word concerning who He is and our response is the center piece to everything else we do.
There will not be a formal invitation for this.
