When We Meet
Our main gatherings are presently held the second & fourth Sundays of every month. Gatherings start at 4:30 and end somewhere around 6:30. After our gatherings, many will go out to eat dinner, hang out at a cafe or each other's homes.
Encounter Kids is our Childcare for those who need it. Encounter Kids meets in a separate room with adult workers who provide stories, crafts and more for those that are present. Children are always welcome to stay in the service as well if a parent prefers.
On the 3rd Sunday of every month, Encounter comes together as a conversation group that discusses the personal implications of messages heard at Enounter's main gatherings.
Lastly, a clear focus on helping to bring spiritual, physical and economical transformation to the city of Reading will be a large part of Encounter in the near future as well. Currently, Encounter serves the city in various capacities on the first Sunday of every month.
