Who We Are
Encounter started as a young adult group from Hopewell Christian Fellowship, Elverson, PA by a group of friends that desired to see a new expression of church gather
and have an impact on a local urban area.
Eventually, Encounter grew into a ministry that now gathers in free and rented spaces around the small city of Reading. Although the median age of those who now attend and participate with Encounter are college age up through early 30's, all ages are present and all ages are welcome.
